Hi there! I'm Kace, or MorallyGreyMusings on Discord. Some know me in the FFXIV RP Community as Guizhong Lapis, Owner of Gem's Sundries and the Partnership Manager at Florette Athenaeum, as well as Adaline Belmont, Co-Owner of The Spire. When I am not filling those roles, I am Gposing and playing bard gigs!

Born into Ishgardian Nobility, Adaline faced a lot of scrutiny as well as prejudice in her life. After the events of Meteor ending the Dragonsong War, Adaline took up the role of Overseer of Internal Affairs. Reform in Ishgard began to make a headway, and lives were being changed in the process. Alongside the nobility she grew up with, House Fortemps, Durendaire, Haillenarte, Dzemael, and Belmont began to do as promised: change Ishgard for the better.
Fast forward to the last two years, and Adaline is a very different woman. After crossing paths with Gabriel as well as her soon-to-be nemesis, Lenore, family secrets began to reveal themselves. The situation as a whole escalated, leading to the death of her father and the head of House Belmont. She has since taken over the mantle and reconnected with her long-time ally Gabriel after the final battle with Lenore left her with some amnesia.

Born and raised in U'ldah, Guizhong is the only daughter of well-known Goldsmiths. After expressing her desire not to follow in her parents' footsteps right away, she moved to Gridania to begin her studies in music. Eventually, her studies would take her all over the star, learning from the best. Years later, she became the teacher for a time in Thavnair, teaching the children of Radz-at-Han how to play the lyre, lute & harp.
Fast forward to now, and Guizhong is back home for the foreseeable future and has her own shop when she's not playing music at Florette Athenaeum.

Orphaned from a young age by the Garlean Occupation, Persephone grew up in the Kugane Orphanage until she was 16. She made Gil through odd jobs and serving at the Holstery. When she was 18, a Yakuza boss took her under his wing, making her his protégée. When he died, his empire was left to her. At the mere age of 25, she was the youngest boss in the history of the Kugane Yakuza...and a woman to boot. These days, she runs such a tight ship that she lets her crew operate on their own, giving her time to enjoy the things she never got to when she was younger. You won't see her around The Spire often, but when you do, and if she doesn't have her eyepatch on...please don't stare at her eye.

Rose was born in Tural, but when her parents got the call to join Sharlayan's ranks of researchers, they made the move. This meant that they missed the conception of The Dome that would come years later. It wasn't until Rose, now a traveling gleaner, visited home to find some of her family and friends had been aged by the Dome's appearance.
Fast forward a few months, and Rose is back in Eorzea, waiting for more Gleaner jobs to pop up!

Ophelia grew up in Old Sharlayan with her twin sister, Melody. When Ophelia was old enough, she left home to learn her craft from all over, and still travels for work to this day. When she's home in Eorzea, she works at Gem's Sundries, Guizhong's shop. She tries to see her twin when she can, but both women are very busy.

Melody became a successful Gleaner in the animal department, seeking out creatures in danger of going extinct and getting them the care they needed to reproduce in a safe environment after The Final Days. When she's not traveling for work, you might find her around her sister's job or at a local place.
